Improving search visibility for a DevOps consultancy

Technical SEO and expert content helped commercially relevant pages become easier to discover.

01 / GOAL

Make specialist services discoverable

The team had strong DevOps and Kubernetes expertise, but relevant pages were not visible enough for buyers researching complex infrastructure services.

02 / WORK

Technical foundations and expert content

The work covered indexing, internal links, Core Web Vitals and a content structure around Kubernetes, SRE and cloud infrastructure. Each topic was tied to a buyer question and a useful next step.

03 / EVIDENCE

A measurable change in Google Search Console

Comparing the latest three months with the previous three, average position moved from 20.3 to 10.8. Impressions rose from 1.01M to 1.38M and clicks from 9.92K to 10.7K.

CTR fell from 1% to 0.8%, so stronger visibility did not translate into an equally large click increase.

04 / BUSINESS CONTEXT

What the data does and does not prove

Several tracked technical queries reached positions 2–9. The supplied public reports do not measure leads or sales, so this case is evaluated on search visibility rather than pipeline impact.

The comparisons use two three-month periods in Google Search Console. Lead growth is not verified by the supplied reports.
